    Workflow Redesign

Staying competitive in today's market requires increased efficiency and productivity while lowering cost, all without reducing the quality or accuracy of the product. Often, to improve productivity, companies will purchase an expensive new technology, only to learn that it is not used fully and employees continue to perform work the "old way." CBA helps companies analyze their current workflow and systems and design new workflow to improve production and lower cost. In a situation where new technology or software is not reaching its potential, CBA will help design a workflow that aligns the work with the system.

CBA's workflow redesign process starts by forming a company re-design team. We act as facilitators, guiding the redesign team as they map out the current workflow, identify bottlenecks, inefficient steps in the work, and points of contact where customer problems frequently occur. We interview customers to gain perspectives on where changes in workflow should occur. The team then maps out a new workflow for the future and develops an action plan for new employee training and implementation. Work efficiency, productivity, quality, and cost are measured before, during and after new workflow implementation. We measure of our success in improving workflow by obtaining significant improvements in efficiency, productivity, and quality, lowered cost, and improved customer satisfaction.

When we work with a company on workflow, our objective is to help the company and its employee design a new way to efficiently produce a quality product at a cost that will allow the company to stay ahead of the marketplace.
